September 4, 20178 yr Pre 6.4.0-rc8q, on my W10 VMs I would right click on each of my personal folders (documents, downloads, videos etc - C:\Users\DZMM\downloads etc) and change the location to my unraid share e.g. \\Highlander\dzmm\downloads so that all my folders were in sync on each PC. This worked perfectly and I could both access and save files with no problems. Since 6.4.0-rc8q I can only access the folders via windows - I can't change or save new files. If I go to \\Highlander\dzmm\downloads via windows explorer all is fine; it's just via the personal folders it doesn't work. Weird. Fixes anyone or a 6.4.0-rc8q bug? I actually just ditched my Windows VM and went back to a bare-metal install (long story), and I had no problems changing the Quick Access folders to my networked documents. The only thing is that Windows won't let you include a network location (or mapped drive) within a library.
September 4, 20178 yr Author all 3 of my VMs have all stopped working at the same time, two of which I barely use - so something has probably changed with rc8. I'll try on the laptop later which hasn't been mapped before to see if it works there.
September 5, 20178 yr Author running docker safe permissions seemed to fix it - maybe my permissions got out of whack with rc8
