Folders in User Share Disappeared

Featured Replies

Greetings! I have a user share entitled Movies that had about 200 files in it. Last night I was copying a new movie folder to that directory when Plex froze up. I restarted the Plex server, and now that user share shows 0 files in it (it does display only 4 folders that each had an .mkv file in them, but they are now empty too).  I shut down the array and restarted unRaid, restarted the array, but the files seem to be gone. Any idea on how I can recover those folders and files?

Not a defect report according to the rules, and extremely unlikely to be a defect, so moving to General Support.

Nothing particularly stands out.  Does the share show the files if you navigate to it through find explorer / finder or is it only Plex that's not showing the movies?

Neither file explorer or Plex shows the files. I have two movie folders and the movies in the other folder show up fine. However, the files in the Movies folder are just gone!
