Server not responding

Featured Replies

Since a couple of days I recognized that the webgui is not responding. However, access to shares, file transfer etc. is still working well. Here is what I see in my log:

emhttp: err: sendFile: sendfile /usr/local/emhttp/update.htm: Broken pipe

Is there any known issue? I have just updated all plugins to the most recent versions.

tower-diagnostics-20170908-1546.zip

Does this happen consistently?

Unfortunately yes - from time to time I can access the Webgui but after a while it is not responding

you also have a docker error you might investigate, might be causing the issue. maybe try leaving docker apps off for 24 hours and see if issue persists, if so, maybe deleting docker image and reinstalling apps. It's just curious that the docker error with network starting stopping and the broken pipe error are somewhat close to each other.

I have started unRAID in GUI/Safe Mode w/o any plugins. The only log entry which is coming up every minute:

Quote

Sep 10 11:49:01 Tower crond[1938]: exit status 127 from user root /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.local.master/scripts/localmaster &> /dev/null

However now issue with unresponsive WebGUI anymore.

Seems that I have to identify the plugin that is causing the issue....:/

[EDIT] ...what Docker have you seen that is causing an issue?

Simple: Dynamix Local Master.

I thought that safe mode not installing cron files was fixed a while back, but may be mistaken on that (couldn't find it in any release notes)

Thanks to all looking into this.

I have removed the following plugins and it seems that the error is gone:

Server Layout
Preclear Disks
Open Files
File Activity
CA Resource Monitor
Advanced Buttons

These are the plugins still being installed:
wakeonlan
user.scripts
unassigned.devices
tips.and.tweaks
speedtest
recycle.bin
newransomware.bait
ipmi
fix.common.problems
dynamix.system.stats
dynamix.system.info
dynamix.system.buttons
dynamix.ssd.trim
dynamix.schedules
dynamix.local.master
dynamix.file.integrity
dynamix.cache.dirs
dynamix.active.streams
diskspeedtest
community.applications
ca.update.applications
ca.cleanup.appdata
ca.backup
UnraidDVB
NerdPack
unRAIDServer
dynamix

Seems that Advanced Buttons is the plugin that is causing the issue. I have removed it an reinstalled everything else and the error messages are gone.
