Problem entering replies / new topics

Featured Replies

Whenever I start to enter my post, all is okay until the post text window is full.  As I enter more lines the window repositions to the top every time I type a character so I am typing blind. I have not seen this behavior on any other forum so I do not think it is my browser which is IE 8 under Win 7.

I must have some setting or option wrong and would appreciate any advice/help.

disable plug ins, try another browser.

I'm having these odd positional situations in the reply form field too.

When I get to the end, there is all sorts of scrolling up and down.

Could it have something to do with compatibility view?

I do not get this with Firefox. so it's an ie 8 issue. (I do not remember this with ie7).

I have XP SP3 with IE8.

I just added the site, lime-technology.com, to compatability view and all is well now.  Thanks for the thought weebotech

Google Chrome lets you resize text fields at will.  This alone makes it the best forum browser in my opinion.

Your using IE.  Look up at where the red X and the refresh buttons are.  To the left is one that looks like a page of paper.  Click it to use compatibility view.  All fixed.
