[Support] Aria2 + WebUI

Featured Replies

Thanks for the image, I'm looking for a lightweight download manager. 🙂

I am not familiar with aria2 but im having issues with sonarr passing to rutorrent when encrypted. I hear aria2 can fix the magnet links so it will work.  Its even going to be added to sonarr eventually.  Will this docker be able to monitor my rutorrent docker and fix the magnet links?  And if so can someone point me to how to do this? Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask.

anyone get this to work with the crome extension?

Does anyone know how to get Aria2 to parse a URL for links to then download?

Weird.

Starting today when i try to connecto to the webui i get:

Request Entity Too Large
Your request was dropped because it was too long.

Beside that, the RPC is working (i'm conneting to it with the chrome extension).

Log looks ok:

I'm unable to access the WebUI for aria2 with ariang, I get a connection refused error when trying to browse to the WebUI. I've tried using the default port 80 and another one just to try (8050).

Here is the log for the container, it looks OK to me.

[s6-init] making user provided files available at /var/run/s6/etc...exited 0.

I remember using this container before, but it was a while ago. If there are any other logs/troubleshooting techniques that I missed out on, please do let me know.

EDIT: Nevermind, about 40 minutes later, the rest of it started up!

looks like the dev has been offline for a long time

like the user mentioned above  the webui takes a long time to startup with the exact same log

Hi fanningert,

aria2-with-ariang is the awesomest docker withing download app, many thanks to you.

Secret and port information for RPC part of the client don't persist between sessions. Anyone know why? This is not for the RPC listener, those are fine.

If I open a window in incognito or something, the settings go back to defaults and the secret is blank.

I've got aria2 daemon and web installed, but when I add a url in the UI, it only downloads the main html for the page. What am I missing?

Installed this, selected Start and "Execution error - Server error" popped up.
