Thank you for the info, however I see nothing out of the ordinary.  Since you can make it crash "at will", please boot server, and then open a telnet/ssh window using, e.g., putty, or if not available, click 'Log' button on webgui menu bar.  Now make it crash and select/copy/paste the content of the logging window into a post, hopefully that will show the origin of the crash.

No.

I'm using XFS for the raid and BTRFS on the cache drives.

But no messages on console get output just prior to crash?

Anything change with your h/w?  Run memtest lately?  Overclocking (hope not)?  Added storage devices?

Nothing in the syslog before this happens.

No oc
Storage hasn't changed in a few months.
I've removed my video card and USB add-on card. I run a Windows 10 vm with these two cards passed through. I was trying to trim down the areas that could cause a crash.

I ran a memtest over night last night and it passed.

Small update.

I've diagnosed it to either be a CPU or motherboard issue. I've transitioned my unraid server to older hardware an it's been running SMOOTH for the past week.

The weird crashing is still happening on the original hardware with another OS installed.

This has nothing to do with unRaid. Thanks everyone!

Keep calm and carry on.
