I am about to upgrade to 8TB drives in my array but am not sure if my Asrock Z77 Extreme4 motherboard supports 8TB drives.  Does anyone have any running on this board?  When I emailed Asrock they said they thought it should but have never tested it.

    It should support 8TB and larger without any issues.

    There are no known issues with this Board and 8-10TB-HDDs.

    Even my "old" B75 Pro3-M support 10TB-HDDs.

    If it supports 2TB, then it'll support 10TB.

     

    It must be 10 years since boards didn't support more than 2TB...
