I am thinking of creating a cache pool using 2 ssds. Is there a speed increase from going from 1 ssd to 2 ssds. Or should I create a Raid 1 array with the ssds?

    That's great information that I didn't know about but I was wondering about the performance of the pool and whether to do the pool in raid 1 or use my MB's hardware raid 1.

    btrfs raid1 will have better read and same write performance as a single disk, don't know about your motherboard.
