[SOLVED]. Does anyone have a recommendation on a SATA board, either 4 or 8 port that is plug and play with 6.X?

SOLVED

The LSI 9201-8i is plug and play.  Or, if you buy from an unRAID user in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum then they probably will have flashed one of the other LSI based cards to IT mode so you won't have to.

Good stuff...Thanks.  I just ordered the 9201.  Do I need an SAS to SATA breakout cable or will it accommodate regular SATA cables?

You'll need SFF-8087 Forward Breakout cables for that card.
