bprohs
[SOLVED]. Does anyone have a recommendation on a SATA board, either 4 or 8 port that is plug and play with 6.X? Edited October 4, 2017 by bprohs SOLVED Quote Link to comment
tdallen
The LSI 9201-8i is plug and play. Or, if you buy from an unRAID user in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum then they probably will have flashed one of the other LSI based cards to IT mode so you won't have to. Quote Link to comment

TODDLT
I recently got a 9201 and very happy with it: http://www.ebay.com/itm/LSI-Logic-SAS9201-8i-6GB-PCIe-Express-2-0-RAID-Card-Low-Profile-/322757721207? and in case you need the long bracket http://www.ebay.com/itm/Standard-Long-Bracket-Dell-Boardcom-PCI-E-Gigabit-Network-Adapter-R900/322180272734?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 Quote Link to comment
bprohs
Good stuff...Thanks. I just ordered the 9201. Do I need an SAS to SATA breakout cable or will it accommodate regular SATA cables? Quote Link to comment
tdallen
You'll need SFF-8087 Forward Breakout cables for that card. Quote Link to comment
