October 10, 20178 yr Yesterday i began having issues with a VM, which slowly began losing track of USB devices that were attached to a 3.0 card that is passed thru. Finally, the whole card disappeared. In order to fix, I attempted to remove the vfio-pci line from the Flash drive that allowed the card to be passed through, with the intent of setting it up again from scratch. Upon rebooting, the GUi was not accessible and the VM was not running, but I could ssh in using putty. What fixed it was entering this "/etc/rc.d/rc.docker stop" and "/sbin/reboot/", and suddenly everything was up and running again including the card that started the whole mess in the first place. So I can learn from this, can someone explain to me exactly what I did? I'm guess the docker was choking on something, as I had already rebooted with other methods. No idea where to look in the logs. Thanks! unraid-diagnostics-20171010-1518.zip
