Does anyone have their VMs set on some sort of timer? 

 

It'd be nice to be able to set my VM to turn off every night rather than running and continuing to use power/resources.

 

Is this a scripting type of solution, or are there plugins that I haven't seen?

    I set a task in Windows scheduler to shutdown my Windows 10 vm at midnight. Would be pretty cool to have it wake in the morning on some sort of schedule.

    You can use wake on lan via CA User Scripts. I do this and it works perfectly.
