October 14, 20178 yr I've just created a USB key for unRAID 6.4.0-rc9f using the Mac USB creator in order to try unRAID for the first time. I thought I'd start by running a memory test, as it's a new PC, but when I select Memtest86+ from the boot menu, I get a black screen for a few seconds, followed by the BIOS logo and the boot menu again. Is anybody else having problems launching Memtest? If I try booting to unRAID, I get a login prompt, and the boot messages show the box is at 192.168.69.226. I can ping this IP, but not connect to ports 80 or 443. If I try booting to GUI, I get a copy of Firefox, but it can't connect. When I shut down, the messages include "nginx is not running" — it seems like it should be, unless unRAID goes directly to php-fpm. A port scan shows only the following ports open: Port Scan has started… Port Scanning host: 192.168.69.226 Open TCP Port: 21 ftp Open TCP Port: 23 telnet Open TCP Port: 37 time Open TCP Port: 111 sunrpc Open TCP Port: 139 netbios-ssn Open TCP Port: 445 microsoft-ds Open TCP Port: 38509 Port Scan has completed… Diagnostics attached; yes, I know the attached HD is rather ancient — it's a failed one that's only in there for testing celestia-diagnostics-20171014-0336.zip If I manually assign an IP address, it works: Port Scan has started… Port Scanning host: 192.168.69.99 Open TCP Port: 21 ftp Open TCP Port: 22 ssh Open TCP Port: 23 telnet Open TCP Port: 37 time Open TCP Port: 80 http Open TCP Port: 111 sunrpc Open TCP Port: 139 netbios-ssn Open TCP Port: 443 https Open TCP Port: 445 microsoft-ds Open TCP Port: 59977 Port Scan has completed… but why have the option for DHCP if it doesn't start the web server?
