Call Traces Found - Assistance Requested

Featured Replies

My server has been throwing call traces periodically, and I've ran MemTest86+ and found no errors.  Can anyone take a look and help me out?

Thanks!

I'm curious what the logs mean though.  I don't see any indication that I am actually out of RAM, and I even setup the swap file with another 8gb.  Why would I still be getting overfull RAM?  Now, my RAM usage has gotten close to 100%, but not usually past 80% or so.

These errors are related to OOM:

Oct 14 05:00:48 SkyNet kernel: python2: page allocation stalls for 13234ms, order:0, mode:0x24201ca(GFP_HIGHUSER_MOVABLE|__GFP_COLD)

Ah, thanks for confirming.  I took a look at the logs but I can't tell; is it using the page file?  Isn't that the point, that it switches to the page file (on the cache drive) for more RAM?

unRAID doesn't use swap.

ETA: There's a swap file plugin, but these OOM issues should resolve once you update to v6.4 because of the newer kernel.

Oh.  Alrighty, guess I will ignore it until then.  So the swap file plugin is literally useless?  Or is it for Windows VMs?

It should help, though I never used it, but this is more a kernel problem.
