Checked the Unraid server today and noticed the Parity drive was disabled.

 

It will not let me enable the drive

 

I have run a smart test and attached diagnostics, id appreciate someone having a look.

You should enable system notifications so you're warned when there's a problem .

 

SMART looks fine, disk is on Marvell controller, those are known to drop disks.

I followed the wiki link above and the parity sync is underway.

I just noticed typing this my little dude 15mth old, comes over and pulls the HDD caddy flap (tries to eject the HDD). the little sod done it to my parity drive...  That must be why this has happened.

Hopefully, you have 'locks' on the latches.  I have always lock mine because I am worried that I (or someone) will inadvertently do exactly what your 15 month old is doing.  They really do look inviting...
