October 20, 20178 yr Edit: Just set up an NFS share instead. Interested to see if anyone has thoughts on the below, but the issue is self-resolved. Hello, all. I just hopped on the unRAID bandwagon, and I've hit my first roadblock. The unRAID box will be used initially as a VM host, Plex Server and secondary storage array. I have a Synology NAS (1812+) that is my current media host. I plan to transition over to unRAID as my host over time, but right now I don't really want to undertake the process of transitioning everything over to unRAID just yet--especially since I don't have a ton of experience with it. That being the case, I'd like to run the Plex Docker and then connect it to my Synology NAS using SMB. I installed the Unassigned Devices plugin, added a new SMB share, entered the IP (192.168.1.200) and credentials (Lyn/Password) and the SMB share that needs to be mounted "Diskstation" but I get an error code in the logs. For what it's worth, there's a green dot next to SMB. Does anyone have any suggestions here? Logs below.
