October 22, 20178 yr I added a new drive and after preclearing it I formatted it in XFS (not intentionally just didn't realize the new default was XFS), the rest of my disks are RFS. Anyway, I tried to include the disk in my used share and it doesn't show up as an option. The new disk is disk 6 and only disks 1-5 are available. I thought the XFS formatting might be an issue so I reformatted using RFS. Below are the settings.
October 22, 20178 yr Community Expert XFS is now the recommended format for array drives. It is better supported than ReiserFS that is now end-of-life in the Linux world. There is no problem with using a mix of formats for the drives in the array. You might want to check Settings->Global Share Settings in case you limited the drives there? if that is not the issue then I suggest you post the diagnostics zip file (obtained via Tools->Diagnostics) as this gives more information about your system.
