Eriic91 Posted October 26, 2017 Share Posted October 26, 2017 I saw a video by spaceinvader on Youtube where he passed through a nic to a virtual machine, I followed his steps and everything was moving along fine until I pressed start on the VM. BobPhoenix Posted October 27, 2017 Share Posted October 27, 2017 (edited) Looks like you have 4 nic connections: 03:04.0, 03:4.1, 05:00.0 & 05:00.1 03:04.0 & 03:04.0 and 02:00.0 are in the same IOMMU group: 22 05:00.0 is in IOMMU group 19 05:00.1 is in IOMMU group 20 So how sure are you that you are trying to pass through 05:00.0 or 05:00.1? In otherwords make sure you are NOT passing through the "Broadcom Limited NetXtreme" nics. If you are passing through those you would have to pass everything in IOMMU group 22 and 02:00.0 is a bridge which has never worked for me. Sorry not really sure what I'm looking at in the logs for your VMs to know what nic you are passing through or if that info is listed. Opps I guess your error message confirms your passthing through one of the Intel nics. So maybe someone else can tell what the problem is from the diagnostics because I'm lost now.
