Crashing after update to unRAID OS 6.4.0-rc10b

Featured Replies

I upgraded my server yesterday to unRAID OS version 6.4.0-rc10b. After the update my server keeps crashing after a couple of seconds. I am able to loging in to the gui on the server it self, it is then trying to start the array but freezes after a couple of seconds.

My server specifications:

Hp Z800

2x Xeon X5675

32GB Ecc 1333 ram

Samsung 850 Evo 500GB

4x 2TB WD Red

GT 210 for the screen

If anyone could help would be amazing, I am by no means an expert in unRAID.

What were you upgrading from?

Have you tried starting in Safe Mode - if you can you want to grab the diagnostics (Tools->Diagnostics) and post them here.

Most likely filesystem corruption on a xfs disk, after starting the array SSH into the server (or use the console) and type diagnostics upload the zip saved on the flash drive.

I hope this can help. I have manualy disabled the auto start of the array and was able to boot the server up.

Edit:

I updated from unRAID OS 6.4.0-rc9f.

Edit2:

I just started the array in maintance mode and after that normaly, so I do not know what is going on but my server is working again.

Good, because the diagnostics would only show the problem disk, if that was the issue, if they were downloaded after trying to start the array.

Is there a way to revert back to r9f?

Copy the files on the flash drive previous folder to its root overwriting existing files.

Thanks a bunch! Ever since I upgraded to rc10 2 days ago, my Ryzen server has been crashing, for a total of about 5 times. It was rock solid of like 3 months before that, so I figured it had to be rc10.

I was going to ask if you were using Ryzan, see here:
