[UnRaid 6.3.5] Move Installation to new server

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am not sure if there is already a thread available but I didnt found either an FAQ, Docu or Thread for that topic.

I have troubles with my running Unraid Installation on a HPE ML10 Gen9 (1 Parity, 1 Data, 1 Cache Drive). Maybe I have a hardware fault.

I have a spare HP MicroServer N40L.

Can I easily move the UnRaid Installation to the backup Server? Just shutdown the productive Server, remount Drives and booting up the backup server?

Br,

Johannes

It's usually as simple as that.

Yes as Johnnie says its as simple as that. Shutdown the server, put hard drives in the other server and put in the same USB drive and boot up and it will work
