XeonE5-2650 v0 all Cores stay at 2GHz

Featured Replies

Hi,

i just realised that all my cpu cores stay at 2Ghz with my Xeon E5-2650 v0 on a ASUS Z9PA-U8 Motherboard.

I also updated my Motherboard BIOS, which also reset my BIOS settings to make sure i didnt accidently disabled Intel Turbo Boost.
I double checked and Intel Turbo Boost is set to Enabled in BIOS.

The only few things i had to changed were:

 - enable Intel VT-d

 - enable Auto Turn On after powerloss

 - changed Bootpriority to the USB - Stick

 - set the boot graphicscard to onboard (the motherboard VGA chip)

I even checked the TipsAndTweaks plugin:

Can someone enlighten me what i might have missed here?

Already thanks for your support! I greatly appreciate it!

For starters set your CPU Scaling Governor to "Performance".

My Intel® Xeon® CPU E5-2683 v3 has a base clock of 2.00 GHz.
