I can't write to my unraid server from Windows 7

Featured Replies

Hi all,

i can't write to my unraid server which work fine. I can read, but when i want to create a new folder, the system tell me that i don't have the rights to do this, but i'm Adminstrator. And if i attempt to change the owner of the HDD i can't either with the same type of message.

So what can i do ?

Have you played around with the security settings on your server?  Also, are you using user shares or disk shares?

no i don't play with the security settings on my server, i use user shares. I think the problem is coming from Windows 7 but i don't know how can i resolve it.

Go into your Shares page on you unRAID server's web management page.  Are your user shares set as 'export read/write'?  Do you have any user accounts set up (on the Users page)?
