I had a motherboard go bad so I had to replace it with a different brand and model but using the same CPU, memory, etc... It's working but noticed some odd things... Won't go into GUI mode...stays stuck on the login screen, however, when you connect to the server through the web interface, everything is accessible... My UPS won't communicate with the new motherboard on any of the the USB ports. I have tried to update the drivers to no avail but keep getting lost communication errors. ashman70 Posted November 5, 2017 Share Posted November 5, 2017 For the USB port, check the BIOS and see what the settings are, some BIOS's have a 'legacy' mode for USB ports, you may need to use that mode or not. unRAID remembers drives by their serial numbers, so as long as you set your BIOS up correctly, and I believe there is a video on the Limetech website about that, you don't need to do much else.
