Hey Guys,

Fairly new to unraid, loving it so far. So be easy on me!

 

So, I have gigabit internet here at my house, and my gaming PC gets 900+ mbps all the time (wired).

 

I now have a r710 server running unraid, and the speedtest results I get on unraid is around 700mbps. I have no complaints with this, although I'm not sure why the pings are much higher using unraid and the speeds are a bit slower.

 

But, once I stack a windows 10 VM on unraid, I don't even get the 700 anymore. I'm getting max throughput of about 40mbps lol.

 

Not sure why that is, has anyone else experienced this?

 

I do have some other nics available, so maybe dedicating one of those nics to my windows vm will solve the issue? 

 

Any advice would be awesome!
