Shares and Dockers missing after shrinking Array (solved/obsolete)

Featured Replies

Hi, just finished setting up my unRaid Server and now i seem to have killed it :/

I had to move a lot of files from existing Disks to the Array before i could format the Disks, so i started the Array with an empty USB3 Drive and moved my first HDDs Files there. After that i formated the 1st HDD, put it into the array and moved the files from the 2nd HDD to the 1st....i think you get the picture.

After all files and HDDs where in the array (to speed up the copy process i have not set a parity drive by now) i setup my Docker containers and checked if everything would be running...which it did.

Now i wanted to pull the USB3 Drive from the array. I looked at the official "shrink array" wiki page.
1. I stopped the array
2. i went to tools -> New Cofig -> Retain all current configuration
3. unassinged the Drive from the array
4. started the array back up

Now all my user shares are gone, and my docker tab is completely empty. I have no idea what to do and if there is any way to fix this...

Edit: I do now have a bunch of disk shares which i never created....

I am not sure if my log files would help, but if so, please tell me and i will include them ;)

EDIT: I just checked and if i put the external HDD back into the array everything is back to normal...
I guess i will be opening a new post and mark this as solved
