November 9, 20178 yr I pre-cleared and added it but it came up as "Unmountable". I then stopped the array to remove it but now the array thinks it's part of the array so it's complaining I'm missing a disk (Not installed). How can I resolve this?
November 9, 20178 yr Community Expert A precleared disk will always be unmountable when first added as it is all zeroes (I.e. has no file system). However at that point you should be offered the option to format the unmountable disk to create n empty file system on the disk.

November 10, 20178 yr Community Expert What you're telling us doesn't really make any sense to us, so maybe post some screenshots of Main - Array Devices and Main - Array Operation to show us what you mean. Also post your complete diagnostics zip.
