detz Posted November 9, 2017 Share Posted November 9, 2017 I pre-cleared and added it but it came up as "Unmountable". I then stopped the array to remove it but now the array thinks it's part of the array so it's complaining I'm missing a disk (Not installed). How can I resolve this? Quote Link to comment
itimpi Posted November 9, 2017 Share Posted November 9, 2017 A precleared disk will always be unmountable when first added as it is all zeroes (I.e. has no file system). However at that point you should be offered the option to format the unmountable disk to create n empty file system on the disk. Quote Link to comment
