Howdo,

 

I'm planning on rebuilding my home server to run unRAID and I have a question regarding pre-clearing disks.  I'm currently running my server on Ubuntu and I was wondering if I could run the pre-clear script (Joe L's) under Ubuntu or does it need to be run on unRAID?

 

I'm running tvheadend on my server at the minute and would prefer to have it offline for as short a period as possible, if I could pre-clear a bunch of my disks ready to rebuild it'd certainly help!

 

If anyone can advise I'd appreciate it.
