Have a good offer on subj. but checking the HCL here it says that it should not be used:

 

Highpoint RocketRAID 2720 8 PCIe x8 SATA III Marvell 88SE9480 DO NOT USE with 6.1.x+, upon reboot there will be parity sync errors.

 

Can anyone confirm if this is still an issue or if it has been resolved?

    Marvell based controllers are not recommend for unRAIDV v6+, get an LSI instead.
