Updating docker weirdness

Today I noticed there were a few docker updates available, one for Medusa and one for Plexpy. I went about updating Medusa the normal way, however it got stuck trying to stop the docker. It has done this before, and I usually have to remove the orphaned image, re download Medusa and set it up, and indeed this happened. I then went about updating Plexpy and the same thing happened although it was harder to remove the orphaned image because the docker refused to stop, in the end I got it removed and reinstalled.

 

Just curious why this is happening, it's a bit of a pain in the butt, otherwise  it's no big deal.
