Increasing VM disk size.

Can someone help me out here? I need more space on my VM than I originally thought. I have tried to increase the size from the only place I could, however when I start the VM it does not change.
As shown in the pic I have changed it to 60gb but when the vm starts it only shows 30?

any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    You need to go to disk management in Windows to extend the partition.
