VM not working with gpu's

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

We have a fresh new machine that we want to use for having one computer with 2 VM on separated GPU's.

We have everything working, we can connect when set to vnc.

But when out with gpu it either, start and go blank or says an error where iommu is not a viable group even after having the PCIe ACS enable.

Anyone can assist with that, before we ask for support by lime tech directly ?

Thanks in advance

I have tried to activate the PCIE-ACS and sadly it does not split appart the GPU from the group.

Does it work if you remove one GPU and run a single VM?

Have you looked for a BIOS update?

You might also look.at GPU related bios settings. A long shot, but you might finding changing a setting might affect the way the IOMMU groups are formed. I had an issue where all my USB controllers were colluded, and disabling usb3 made the BIOS separate into separate groups allowing me to pass through a usb2 controller. Perhaps disabling onboard video (if present).
