Call Traces found on your server

Featured Replies

Hi all, first time posting.

I ran "Fix Common Problems" a few weeks ago and have been getting the following error. No particular problems have appeared since seeing this error, but I'm still seeing it and am curious what I should do about it.

Call Traces found on your server

Your server has issued one or more call traces. This could be caused by a Kernel Issue, Bad Memory, etc. You should post your diagnostics and ask for assistance on the unRaid forums

If someone could take a look at the attached diagnostics and enlighten me, I would be ever grateful.

Nov 16 12:57:42 N304 kernel: Your BIOS is broken; DMAR reported at address 0!

Look for BIOS updates.

If you're not running VM's with a passed through card, then disable VT-D / IOMMU in the BIOS.

If you are running VM's with a passed through card and you have no noticeable problems, then ignore the issue.

Hey Squid,

Just checked BIOS version is latest.

CPU doesn't support VT-d so no pass through.

I'll need to check again but I'm pretty sure VT-d is greyed out since it isn't supported.

I had call traces that turned out to be a bad ram stick. Reboot and run memtest and see if any errors come up.
