I lost a disk recently, and have one on order.  It seems that my unraid system now won't boot.  Haven't had a chance yet to dig into it, though I will as soon as I secure a mouse/keyboard in the next couple of days.

What i I was wondering was in the event the system is dead, is it possible to migrate the array (assuming all disks and USB install drive are good) to  new hardware even though it currently has a bad disk?   I'm assuming at this point if it would work, it would need to be migrated as is so as to validate it at the last known state and then perform disk replacement.

Have yall run into this before?
