Windows 10 VM can not "see" other computers on network

I just updated my windows 8.1 VM to windows 10 and now in network places I can not see any other computers on my network.  I can manually type in the \\192.168.x.x or \\unraid and be able to access the computers that way but I am using a program called argus TV that I use to record my TV shows and it can not connect to my shares and the shares has to be in the \\192.168.x.x or \\unraid in order to access it but somehow it cannot.  I have a feeling it may have to do with network discovery but as far as I can tell discovery and file sharing is on.  The problem seems to be isolated to my VM.
