Docker Related Crash (Maybe)

Featured Replies

Very new to unRAID and fairly new to docker as well. I recently moved to unRAID after the whole FreeNAS corral debacle since I really fell in love with docker at that time. Anyways, I ran my server without any issues for about a month but now it seems to crash pretty soon after enabling any docker containers. By crash I mean it just seems to lock up, the webui stops loading and although the terminal still blinks, it doesn't seems to accept any keyboard input and pushing the power button doesn't initiate a power down like it should, I have to hard reset it any time this happens. I have tried tons of random things recommended on the forums, everything as far as checking all cables and resetting the software completely but it still seems to happen. I am currently running the built in unraid memtest utility, have been for about 3 hours and haven't had any errors, I honestly think this is a software error but I don't really know enough about unRAID to tell myself. I am more than happy to provide any logs or try anything, thanks in advance for any help.

I would recommend installing Fix Common Problems if you haven’t already. You can run it in troubleshooting mode and it will keep a constant log record.

Just installed that and played with it a bit, nothing major came up it was just upset I didn't have notifications enabled.

Just for the heck of it, pull out two of the memory sticks.  As a general rule when running 4 sticks (especially double sided ones), they should be a match set and should also be on the manufacturer's QVL list.  Since I can't find the QVL on MSI's website, downgrade temporarily and see if there's any difference.

Will do, I'm currently running Fix Common Problems in troubleshooter mode until I get a crash to see if it says anything useful.
