I'm using a StarTech.com 4 Port PCI Express 2.0 SATA III 6Gbps RAID Controller Card, shown here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BUC3N74/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

 

I was getting 5 errors each time I ran a parity check, then this went away, and then this came back.  I've had the server lock up on me, too.  I'm trying to remove my SATA card as a source of error, as I do not trust this card (never had 5 parity errors before the card and might not have had lock ups). 

 

Can anyone recommend a 4+ port PCI SATA card that is known to be good with Unraid?   (I searched on this part of the forum for "PCI SATA card" and oddly got zero hits. I'm not sure what other search terms to use.)
