ctviggen Posted November 25, 2017 Share Posted November 25, 2017 I'm using a StarTech.com 4 Port PCI Express 2.0 SATA III 6Gbps RAID Controller Card, shown here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BUC3N74/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I was getting 5 errors each time I ran a parity check, then this went away, and then this came back. I've had the server lock up on me, too. I'm trying to remove my SATA card as a source of error, as I do not trust this card (never had 5 parity errors before the card and might not have had lock ups). Can anyone recommend a 4+ port PCI SATA card that is known to be good with Unraid? (I searched on this part of the forum for "PCI SATA card" and oddly got zero hits.
