**Solved** Kernel Panic after a clean shutdown

Featured Replies

Well I physically needed to move houses today so I shut down one of my unraid servers using the power down button on the main tab (after like 5 months of up time). when I powered it on at the new house it didn't boot after plugging in a monitor I watched it boot to until it kernel panics as pictured. I did a quick search only to find not much help. Thinking there must be a problem with the flash drive I plugged it into another computer I can read all files just fine. Is there a way to reinstall unraid and import my config folder/files?

That is what I ended up doing. I just made a backup of my config folder  then used the unraid creator tool to redo the flash drive. Then replaced the config folder with my backup....done back to working.

Stopp the array and make a backup of your Flash Drive to a folder on your PC.  I would suspect that your Flash Drive is slowly going bad.  If it is several years old, you may want to replace it now.  Buy a decent name brand drive (smaller than 32GB), and read the instruction here on how to do it:
