November 26, 20178 yr Hello. I am following this guide to use rclone to backup my system to B2. Everything was going well, however I created a user script to create a mount in /mnt/disks/ Unfortunately, after following the instructions it appears my /mnt/disks folder is empty. I actually haven't delved into this folder since getting running on UNRAID last week. I suspect that there should be other files in this folder but it is completely empty. I am in the middle of adding a 3TB disk to my drive if that matters. Thanks.
November 26, 20178 yr /mnt/disks is only used by Unassigned Devices. If you don't have any setup through the UD Plugin then you won't have /mnt/disks. Normal assigned devices use /mnt/disk#/ such as /mnt/disk1
November 26, 20178 yr Author Hmm interesting. I don't have any unassigned disks at the moment but that makes sense. It sounds then that I am making some type of mistake following the instructions in that video. I'll have to go through again and see if its something silly.
November 26, 20178 yr Install the Unassigned Devices (UD) plugin. Any drive not assigned to the array will show up as an "Unassigned Device". Mount your drive with UD through the gui and then use rclone to copy off the drive to the array. The drives can be sata or usb and UD will mount them if they have a compatible file format. Click the Help button while on the UD gui and read how to use UD.
November 26, 20178 yr Author I appreciate the replies but your advice is off base. I should have been more detailed with what I'm trying to accomplish vice linking to a video so I'll take the hit on that. I'm setting up a B2 backup using rclone via the instructions in the video here. I have created the user scripts to mount the B2 storage point using the rclone plugin however when I run the scripts with the user scripts plugin... nothing is mounted in the /mnt/disks folder.
