November 30, 20178 yr Hi, Hoping someone smarter than me can point me in the right direction here... Ever since installing the plugin package "Boiler" I can no longer access my shares using Samba. The same thing happened when I installed Boiler on an unraid server I keep at my partners house. So Boiler is clearly the culprit here. stopping and starting the smb service does not solve it smb.conf seems normal smb is running, I can see it when I type ps -ef testparm seems normal - other than "null passwords option is depricated" but I don't think that's hurting anything Any assistance will be appreciated.
November 30, 20178 yr Boiler never really took off, and hasn't been updated in many years. You need to uninstall it. There is nobody around that can troubleshoot it in any way.

November 30, 20178 yr Author Oh ok, good to know. Thank you. I was a super noob at the time (now I am probably just an average noob) and was under the impression I needed Boiler to install Ruby so I can run my scripts. What is the best way to get Ruby installed?
