Reconstruct Write - Production?

Hey folks,

 

Just wondering if there are any risks to keeping the Unraid server on "Reconstruct Write" permanently. I have some VM Data Disks on the array and obviously with read/write/modify writing data is painfully slow. I don't want to use the cache disk as there are often very large write to the data disk and don't want to use up cache for this.

    There doesn't appear to be any risks other than a slightly higher power consumption.

    For data integrity it's no different than the normal write mode.
