[6.3.5] Array space usage changes when accessed via linux

Featured Replies

I seem to have found something odd when i access my unraid shares from a linux box. I was testing linux mint cinamon and accessed a file from one of my shares. After this the reported size in windows changed (attachment file 1) sowing an extra 2tb of array size. This size change goes for all other windows machines on the domain.

you can replicate this by using a new unraid config then opening a file via linux on a share to change the size (attachment file 2).

Windows machine : Windows 10.0.16299.64

Linux machine : Linux mint 18.2-cinnamon-64bit (both physical and virtual for the replication of the defect)
