Looks very daunting and time-consuming. No guts no glory I suppose.

    It takes time, but mostly computer time, and if you're not using specif disks for specific shares it basically boils down to this:

     

    1)empty one of your largest disks and format it with the new filesystem

    2)move all data from another disk to that one

    3)format that now empty disk with the new filesystem

     

    Repeat for remaining disks.
