December 7, 20178 yr Hi All, I am still a novice here so any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Trying to add Home Assistant and it keeps giving me an error of 'unauthorized: authentication required' Have added a screenshot below. Thanks!
January 1, 20215 yr Hi there, reviving this old topic since I'm getting the same error but in all the containers i try to install. Already confirmed date ant time are ok.
January 1, 20215 yr Community Expert I wonder if this a side-effect on the new pull limits being implemented on dockerhub?

Not as far as I know without paying money to dockerhub I thought the limits were not expected to impact most users but maybe this is not the case.
January 1, 20215 yr The error that you'll see in that case is along the lines of "pull limit exceeded" The solution is to wait 6 hours and try again.
January 1, 20215 yr Ok I understand now, so basically they are limiting what I can pull and this limit is reset every 6h. What i find weird is that this is the first container im trying to install so its not like i've downloaded GBs of data. What is the limit do you know? What workaround can be put in place to mitigate this limit? How can I login to my docker account while pulling the container? Thansk you in advance Edited January 1, 20215 yr by sevenmp
January 1, 20215 yr Ok so, even creating an account and logging in via terminal (I think it saves the credentials) I still cant get the pull to be authenticated. Why could this be?
January 1, 20215 yr SO this seemed to not be related with the pull limits but with the fact that I had 2 nic in the machine. Same issue as this one: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/83402-i-am-not-able-to-pull-any-docker-container/ Leaving my solution in case someone faces same issue: I pulled secondary wifi card out.
