December 8, 20178 yr Good Day Everyone! I wanted to ask a quick questions and see if anyone else was having the same issue or had a fix... Currently I seem to have an issue where I use SAB and Sornarr and once something has downloaded These two programs then extract and move the file to its correct location on my unraid server via SMB. However... While this works 99% of the time it appears that now and then something goes wrong the and folder permissions are reset. ( for the folder its copying to) Then then only way I can fix access to that folder is to run the "new permissions" on the whole share to make things work again... Then I am good to go.. The odd thing here is... First of all Everything is using SMB and Windows... to read and write to this share.. ( I am not using any of the unraid dockers of features to run that software) Also as I am using the Windows based software for everything there are no Linux based permissions settings I can find anywhere... that I can see would effect this.. I am trying to work out how in the word of pure SMB how these permissions are getting screwed up and how I can fix this problem as its creates issues as you can image.. Anyone else had to deal with this ?
