not able to connect

Featured Replies

Ok, I hope I am posting this in the right place, sorry if not, and I will try to be a detailed as I can be.  First off this is my first attempt at setting up an unraid server.  I am having some trouble with one of the network interfaces on my motherboard.  the board I have is an Asrock x299 professional, given to me by a friend along with a cpu, that has a pair of Intel NICs, one of which I managed to disable through the BIOS but i can't disable the second (labeled eth1 in the gui), and a single Aquantia 10Gb (labeled as eth0 in the gui).  The problem I am running into is if I connect the 10g port by itself I am unable to login to the server, it comes to the tower login but says ipv4 and ipv6: not set.  If I plug the remaining Gigabit port in at the same time as the other it works and i can login.  However, I live in a household that has a 10Gb switch and it would be nice to use it.  I have tried on both the stable 6.3.5, the Aquantia was not even detected, as well as the latest 6.4.0-rc15e and cannot come up with a solution to the problem.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

attached are the log files with both ports connected (20171209-1913) and with only the 10g connected(20171209-1845).
