Add another SSD to the cache?

Featured Replies

What are my options?

I would like to make my cache bigger, because ive got alot of VMs and Dockers... and LAN cache... What happens when i add another SSD to the cache array?

Will it be 500+500 = 1000?

Is there a Docker/plugin/script to automaticly backup specific dirs from cache (and some not?)?

Is this a good choice? https://geizhals.de/crucial-mx300-525gb-ct525mx300ssd1-a1481819.html?hloc=de

By default a cache pool is redundant so 500+500=500, although this can be changed via the command line

Duplicati to backup anything.  But for simply just backing up the appdata for your containers, then CA Appdata Backup / Restore plugin

Hmm i have one last question.

Can i make cache like array?
1 parity  and

e.g. 2 another cache drives?

You can adjust the raid level of the BTRFS pool. I don't know the specifics but it's been posted a few times buried somewhere in these forums.
