December 11, 20178 yr I'm trying to setup PLEX on my unRAID server I just built, I have not used PLEX or unRAID before, I am following these instructions have also watch various videos, but at the end of step 3 when I click apply after added my movie path, I just get an error. I am using unRAID Plus 6.3.5 My Path that I set and the error I get:
December 11, 20178 yr I suspect the ‘&’ character in the host path for ‘Movies’ might be causing the parsing problem.

December 12, 20178 yr hey Patan77 I'm an unRAID noobee and after you install and add Plex can you access Plex from a smart tv on your network with the Plex app from the tv? I just want to use my server for my home theatre and don't wish to use another (kodi) box or any other devices just my tv and server.

Unfortunately my TV have a really bad "smart TV " functionality (Panasonic VIERA VT60 50" - plasma). Here is a list of some supported plex smart tv: https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/204080173-Which-Smart-TV-models-are-supported- PS. after the installing plex on your unraid server, from your server computer you have to go to: http://localhost:32400/web or http://127.0.0.1:32400/web and sign in to your plex account. I did not mention that in the instruction that I link to in my first post.
