davidk845
New to unRAID and trying to work out the best configuration for me. For example if i assign 3/4 cores to a Virtual Machine leaving a core left over for basic NAS functionality with unRAID. If I turn off my VM will all the cores automatically assign back to the other processes that may be taking place within unRAID such as transcoding? Thank You in advance. Quote Link to comment
saarg
If you only choose the cores in the vm template, they might still be used by other processes while the VM is running. So then you will also have them available to all processes when you turn off the VM also. Quote Link to comment
